5 Clues That CrossFit 310 Is A Good Fit For You

by Kris Germain

Ti’s the season to start making promises…starting next year. Here’s the absolute truth about this present moment: Discounted gym memberships, P90x, and YouTube or Instagram fitness influencers do not work for almost every person. How on earth is anyone supposed to cut through the noise of fitness promises out there?

If you’re reading this blog, it’s highly likely you are investigating CrossFit 310. Here are 5 clues that will help confirm that CrossFit 310 is a good fit for you.

1. Nothing is working for you

To reiterate the point above. Fitness isn’t working for most people. You’re not alone.

It’s time for you to have a real live coach guide you through workouts and teach you how to patiently develop yourself. It’s time to have some accountability for showing up and a place that loves to partner with people at any level.

You need a coach to know your name, see how you’re moving, point you toward your very next step, and keep you from getting distracted. That’s the prescription for significant change.

2. You feel like you need to get into shape before you do CrossFit.

You don’t. The sooner you step into this environment, the sooner you start walking towards your ultimate goals.

We understand. It looks intimidating. If you only knew how many people in our community are in the same spot you are–some of them are just a couple of months ahead of you. Some of them look impossibly fit, but they just happen to be a few years ahead of you.

You can do this too. One of our specific areas of expertise is guiding anyone through the beginning of their fitness journey.

We are consumed with the idea of mastering the beginning of your fitness journey because the most profound changes follow a generous beginning.

3. Coaching is important to you

Our great goal is to partner with people wherever they are on their fitness journey. The most common pattern of success begins with an individual who is willing to let our coaches teach, lead, correct, and encourage them. Those are the people who get anchored in technique and efficiency, who steer clear of big injuries and burnout.

Coaching is the most valuable thing we offer to anyone who comes through our doors. If you value coaching, this is the place for you.

4. You need some encouragement and hope

You’ve seen some success, but it never sticks. You’ve had injuries or other kinds of setbacks, you’re bored, or you just flat out don’t like to work out. It all can seem hopeless.

We’ve been doing this for a long time. We’ve seen nearly everything. We’ve seen people find success in fitness and lives changed forever, from almost every type of beginning conceivable.

This is how we always begin: we want you to come in and talk with us. Just that.

Why?

Because we want to encourage you.

We want to hear your story and see if we can help you find the next best step for you–whether it’s with us or not.

We want to help. We want to encourage. If you need a smile and a little talk about fitness, schedule a time with us!

5. You don’t take yourself too seriously

This is the way we describe what we’re like: We take movement seriously, but we never take ourselves too seriously.

The real art of this whole thing is to have fun with it. Enjoy the process. Smile big and savor the progress. There should be copious amounts of high-fives and laughter. If we're not having fun, we're not doing it right!

Our goal is to create an environment where we practice being healthy and moving well together. Humility and laughter make any room easier to walk into.

If any of these points resonate with you, consider them as clues that CrossFit 310 is a good fit for you.  We love to have conversations with people who are trying to figure out their next fitness step! Follow this link for a free chat with an awesome coach.
